- Who are we? We are the Southampton School District's K-2 school, educating approximately 225 young learners each day!
- Where are we? We are located on 26 Pleasant Street in the beautiful Historic Village of Vincentown.
- What do we do? We teach! Our curriculum features strong Language Arts programming through Reading and Writing Workshop. Our mathematics programming utilizes GoMath! resources, and we recently adopted a hands-on, STEM-based science curriculum through Carolina Science, and an engaging Social Studies curriculum through Studies Weekly. We offer special area instruction in Art, Music, Technology, Health/PE, and Library/Literature. We also offer more individualized instruction through our RtI (Response to Intervention) program and STEP (gifted and talented) program in addition to high-quality and differentiated instruction in the classroom. Finally, we offer various enrichment opportunities within and outside of the classroom, including 'Southampton Spark,' the 'Action Program,' and Lego Club.
- How can we help you? For more information about our school or the information above, call our main office at (609) 859-2256 x130. We would be happy to speak with you and look forward to partnering with you in fostering a love of learning, school, and community here in Southampton!
Our mission is simple: To show your children how amazing they are and inspire them to be their very best selves. We want them to love coming to school so they can feel confident in learning, exploring, making connections with others, and growing as individuals. We will be their teachers, advocates, facilitators, and guidance as they navigate these early years in education and we want to work hand-in-hand with you to make their first formal educational experience a great one!
